Dreams Swing Fling

On Saturday, April 28, 2012, we will be holding our first annual"Swing Fling" dinner and dance at the Delta Hotel Vancouver Airport in Richmond. Needless to say, we are very excited!

Dreams Take Flight is an Air Canada employee and retiree driven charity. Our mission is to send 125 children with special needs to Disneyland for one day, every year, so that they can forget their grown up worries and just be a kid for the day. Our program has touched the lives of over 2300 children since its inception. October 16th, 2012 will be our 20th annual trip and your company's participation and generosity is crucial to making this event a success. We hope that our Swing Fling will become one of our major fundraising events, going towards our cost of approximately $700 per child for this amazing day!

We are seeking donations for our silent and live auctions. Your business will be recognized at our event alongside your donation and donations are tax deductible (excluding gift certificates/cards). Our event will get maximum exposure with our media sponsors JRFM, KVOS and 24hrs newspaper. Some examples of donations we are looking for include theme baskets, sports merchandise, tickets to local events/productions, hotel stays, spa packages, gift cards for gas, groceries and restaurants, etc. There are so many ways for your business to contribute to this event and to the joy on the faces of the 125 children on October 16th when they get to meet Mickey Mouse!
